How it works
A virtual consultation lets you meet our orthodontist by video from home. It is one of two ways to have your consultation — the other is in person at our office.
Either way, your consultation happens after a short first visit at our office, where we complete your paperwork and take your photos and x-rays. The doctor uses those records to give you an accurate assessment and treatment plan. For a virtual visit you only need a computer, phone, or tablet with a camera and microphone — nothing to install, it all runs in your web browser.

1. Fill out your intake form online. New patients, please pick the form that matches your age. Already a patient and want another consultation or have questions? Just book your visit in the next step.

2. Book your first visit — in person. This is a short visit at our Clinton, MD or Anacostia, DC office where we complete your paperwork and take your photos and x-rays. Pick a time that works for you.

3. Come in for your first visit. We complete your paperwork and take your records (photos and x-rays) so the orthodontist has everything ready for your consultation.

4. Schedule your consultation — in person or virtual. When you come in for your first visit, we will schedule your consultation with the orthodontist, and you choose how to have it: in person at our office, or virtual by video from home. If you choose virtual, we will text or email you a secure link — no app or download, just open it at your appointment time. The orthodontist will examine you, give you an assessment, treatment plan, and cost, and answer any questions you have.
